World Equestrian Center

Prior to founding Third Floor Systems, I served as superintendent on this project in 2021, and much of my own hands-on time went into fiber — a lot of it. The AV distribution backbone for the campus ran on both single-mode and multi-mode fiber, and I personally spliced hundreds, if not thousands, of individual fiber runs across the facility, using both fusion and mechanical termination methods depending on the run.

It's not the most visible part of an AV system, but a fiber backbone this size is what makes reliable AV distribution possible across a campus this large — and getting it right, splice by splice, is what everything downstream depends on.

Project photos coming soon.
